Kids with Character Ambassadors
 

Our 5th grade Kids with Character ambassadors have made new adopted pet owners and their new friends very happy! They worked diligently for several months soliciting pet supply donations from the community. They put together 80 bags of food, soaps, treats (even homemade) and toys that were donated to the Animal Hope & Wellness shelter for rescue dogs & cats going home with new families. Thank you to our ambassadors for warming hearts and bellies!
Warner Walk Pledge Sheets

We still have MANY outstanding payments due from Warner Walk.  You may have received an email this week asking you to please return your payment from your paper pledge sheets!
Pledge sheets with amounts due were returned to you last week. This is a final call to please submit all remaining payments!  We cannot award the winning classes with their pizza party until all payments are submitted!
If you didn’t collect any per lap or flat pledges, it’s still not too late to support your child’s efforts and our school.  You can simply write a check made out to WAVE or put cash in an envelope, labeled with your child’s name and classroom in the basket in the main office!

We are proud to support the American Heart Association through Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Jump Rope For Heart). Kids area learning about heart health and helping kids with special hearts like Finn by raising donations for the American Heart Association. All students are participating in fun activities in PE classes from May 20th to May 30th for our Kids Heart Challenge celebration!

Warner Teacher & Staff Luau Luncheon
Aloha Parents,
The Warner Teacher and Staff End-of-Year Luau Luncheon will be held on June 7 at 12:30 PM (the last day of school). Our TEACHERS AND STAFF of 100+ people will enjoy a delicious lunch provided by WARNER FAMILIES!!
Please click on the link below to signup and prepare, bake, roast, grill, and whip up your BEST HOMEMADE DISHES!Please drop off your masterpiece on the morning of June 7 between 8 AM-11:30 AM IN THE LIBRARY.
Additionally, please consider signing up for volunteer shifts for set-up and clean-up and for MONETARY DONATIONS to help with additional food items, decorations, and gifts. Please leave cash or check payable to Jasmin Javaheri in the basket labeled “Teacher Luncheon” in the main office, or you can send Venmo to @JazJava. The Lost and Found is located outside the kindergarten yard. Please check regularly for your children’s lost items. Lunch boxes will will thrown out at the end of the day each Friday. Unclaimed clothing will be donated the third Tuesday of each month.

Our school has officially launched our Kids Heart Challenge program (previously known as Jump Rope for Heart) with the American Heart Association. This community service program teaches our students how to have HAPPY and HEALTHY hearts, challenging them to make a health pledge online and encouraging students to raise lifesaving donations to help fund CPR trainings and critical research to help local families with special hearts.
Get registered online at https://www2.heart.org/goto/warneravenue. You can earn a glow in the dark members-only wristband just for registering, which we want 100% of our students to do before our event!
  • Kickoff Assembly, Challenge Starts: May 20th

Our school is getting ready to start Kids Heart Challenge (previously known as Jump Rope for Heart) with the American Heart Association. Father/Daughter Dance – Sunday, May 19th 
Please join us for dinner and dancing at Warner’s first ever Father-Daughter Dance! Sunday, May 19th at Maggiano’s at the Grove from 5:30-8pm.
This will be an exciting event and tickets include: dinner, refreshments, DJ, photo booth, face painting, games and more!  Tickets are available for purchase on the Warner website. If you would like to buy a corsage and boutonnière, please pre-purchase through the website. We look forward to seeing you all there!  Space is limited so please buy your tickets today!

Please join us for dinner and dancing at Warner’s first ever Father-Daughter Dance! Sunday, May 19th at Maggiano’s at the Grove from 5:30-8pm.
This will be an exciting event and tickets include: dinner, refreshments, DJ, photo booth, face painting, games and more!  Tickets are available for purchase on the Warner website. Lost And Found
lost and found
The Lost and Found is located outside the kindergarten yard. Please check regularly for your children’s lost items. Lunch boxes will will thrown out at the end of the day each Friday. Unclaimed clothing will be donated the third Tuesday of each month.
Warner What’s Happening Newsletter Submissions:
All newsletter submissions must be approved and emailed to warneravenews@gmail.com by 4:00 p.m. the Friday prior to the following week’s newsletter.  You know you have a tween daughter when every bathroom counter at home looks like a used Sephora testing station.
