Welcome to Warner Avenue School, a California Distinguished Institution that aspires to become a Kids-First Community that educates and empowers future leaders of the 21st century! Instruction is driven by quality academic evidence-based programs and strategies. These student-centered programs include Reading and Writing Workshop, Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) in math, hands-on and phenomenon-driven Science education and wherever applicable instruction is infused with current technology teaching and learning programs.

At Warner School, we foster a climate of risk-taking to nurture a growth mindset of “I can achieve anything with effort!” Through our schoolwide Kids with Character program and socio-emotional learning lessons, students grow into kind and responsible members of the Warner Community and society at large. Students in 3rd – 5th have leadership opportunities as Student Council members, Sound Crew members, or Student Ambassadors. Student voice drives many of our community service projects that are held throughout the school year.

Warner parents, teachers, staff and administrators collaborate and make decisions that are attentive to promoting a vibrant learning environment for all our students!
